Stay in an accessible apartment for the duration of your 7 or 10 night break, with two large swimming pools on site, both equipped with a pool hoist. A modern therapy centre offers a variety of individually tailored holistic treatments to promote vitality and well-being. The accommodation is based a mere 400m away from the 8km promenade along the coast.

The beaches are beautiful and it has a harbour that offers fishing trips, pleasure cruises, outings on glass bottom boats, diving excursions and ferries to the neighbouring island of La Gomera.

Once an old fishing town that over the years has made Los Christianos a popular choice for day trippers and tourists alike.

Much of the action centres around the pedestrian area which borders the beach. This long promenade is a haven for good quality restaurants, bars and cafés that offer food from around the world as well as typical Canarian dishes. By night, it lights up as one of the busiest places in the south of Tenerife, together with nearby Playa de las Américas.

The main beach is large, has golden sand, tranquil waters and is a hive of activity, with plenty of sunbeds and shower facilities. The next beach along is Playa de las Vistas which is another lengthy stretch of yellow soft sand with an abundance of amenities. Waters sports are on offer here; you can have fun on a pedalo or test your surfing ability.

Away from the beaches and promenade area, you will discover a labyrinth of shops including boutiques, designer labels and other great places to pick up a bargain, with numerous cafés and bars scattered amongst this shoppers’ paradise.

Maybe just take a wander into the local village to experience the real Italian winding streets, view the cypresses, feel the sun on your face and just take in the beauty that surrounds you.

A local market will be the highlight of any village week and we hope that you will get involved with buying the local produce, maybe meat and fish that we will all cook as a group. Maybe even a little bartering will be done.

Lots of culture and history will also surround the area, so we will be visiting anything of interest that is local to us, churches, museums, arts and crafts, whatever takes our fancy dependent on what people are interested in.
